CCL has once again been awarded as best in class for sustainable label technology. The latest award was given to CCL by AWA (Alexander Watson Associates) who awarded the suststainability excellence award for our EcoFloat sleeve on a PET bottle for fabric softener. The project was developed together with Henkel and is already comercialized and available in supermarkets and other stores.

In addition to that, CCL has been shortlisted by Packaging Europe for the Sustainable Packaging Award. This time the nominated product is a true innovation developed at our Meerane beverage site…it is a WashOff label for refilable PET labels. It functions similar as the long-established WashOff label for glass bottles but detaches from the PET bottle at a lower temperature because PET bottle washing is generally done at lower temperatures.
